The Challenge Marconi purchased Siebel software to accomplish three major objectives: (1) to have one tool all sales people could utilize across the organization;. (2) to improve the accuracy of revenue and product forecasting to reduce inventory costs; (3) to have a central database with all Marconi customer information.
The Result Marconi needed a partner who could help them train their 1,500 sales and sales support reps worldwide on the Siebel software. We displaced Siebel to win this training engagement due to our superior strategy and approach to training. We developed a full-blown total learning solution consisting of instructor-led, synchronous and asynchronous strategy for Marconi worldwide. This strategy included a pretraining CD to build awareness and level the skills of the trainees. Also, we delivered scenario-based training with an Internet-based registration system and experienced instructors for the Siebel implementation.
1,500 Siebel users later, Marconi has given us rave evaluations of our training. Testimonials are available upon request. We have provided a significant amount of global ERM strategy as well. We are awaiting approval to execute a global ERM strategy for Marconi. Marconi has allowed us to position our company as a contender for global ERM rollouts to other Fortune 500 companies as evidenced by our award of work with Dow Chemical. |
