The Challenge
The city officials wanted a new look and feel for their Web site. Their existing site did not have a consistent look and feel, had several disparate parties updating it with different processes, and had large amounts of outdated information.
The Haverstick Approach
Haverstick worked with the client to understand its short- and long-term business objectives, the environment, and to provide recommendations. We helped them clearly define their existing processes, pointed out bottlenecks and sources of problems, and identified a set of requirements for implementing a new set of systems.
The Solution
Based on our analysis and research, we determined that a content management system would best fit its goals. Using hands-on technical demos, research from Gartner and Forrester, and our own experience, we determined Percussion Software’s Rhythmyx to be the best fit for the city.
The Result
Haverstick’s recommendation allowed the city to implement a new design, minimize the effort involved, enforce its new design in a distributed authoring environment, and maximize the effectiveness of the design.
